Ideas for expanding the Obsidian + Claude Code setup based on Daron Vener’s “Claude Code OS” framework.

Current State (30 December 2025)

What’s working:

  • Obsidian vault with clear folder structure (Daily, Ideas, Projects, Team, Strategy, Workspaces)
  • Root CLAUDE.md with comprehensive instructions
  • Workspace-specific contexts (60 - Workspaces/)
  • Slash commands (/brain, /eod, /idea, /for)
  • WhatsApp → Dropbox → Vault pipeline for mobile capture
  • MCP integrations (PostHog, Airtable)
  • GitHub sync for Claude.ai mobile access
  • obsidian-vault skill

First hook implemented:

  • Session start hook checking for unprocessed WhatsApp notes

1. Daily Context Loader (Session Start)

  • Show today’s date
  • Surface overdue tasks from 40 - Team/Tasks/
  • Show yesterday’s “carrying over” items from EOD
  • Display current quarterly focus reminder

2. EOD Reminder (Pre-Prompt after 5pm)

  • Check if today’s EOD exists
  • If not, nudge: “No EOD logged today. Want to do that first?”

3. Week Start Planning (Monday Session Start)

  • Summarize last week’s EOD entries
  • Surface incomplete tasks
  • Prompt for 3 weekly priorities

4. Cross-Post Validator (Post-Tool on Brain Log write)

  • Scan entry for team names
